Stando alla lista dei trofei di Streets of Rage 4 sembra che Max da Streets of Rage 2 farà nuovamente un cameo nel gioco. Questa volta sembra che sarà soltanto un boss. Il trofeo ad esso associato è un trofeo silver, chiamato “Snap Out of It”, la sua descrizione dice semplicemente di sconfiggere Max posseduto. Questo ruolo ridotto non è inusuale, anche perché Max era giocabile solo nel secondo gioco, e appare brevemente nel terzo come personaggio non giocabile.
